Finals are done!!!

Well, spring semester is officially over for me. I had my last final today at nine for my ASL class and my professor never showed. It was the most random thing, something she has never done before. After waiting around for a half hour, we all decided to take roll and tape it to the door. One of the girls in the class decided to call the language department to see if they knew anything. They tried emailing her and texting her and they never did get a response. After hanging around until ten, the department told us to put our student id's on the paper and bring it down to them and they would email us with any news. So far no email and I have to say as far as I am concerned, the final is a bust and hopefully we will not have to take it. That was the majority of the opinion of my classmates and we hope Judy is okay, but we are not sad that she was not there to give us the final. Anyway, I have a week until summer semester begins and so I plan on gutting my house in that time and maybe I will be able to stay on top of it this summer. I am only taking eleven credits this summer so it shouldn't be too bad. Anyway, yeah happy it is over and I am ready to move on.

The Fox and the Hound

Last night Ryan was looking through a book with Sadie when they came to the story about the "Fox and the Hound." I was in the kitchen when he called me in to hear something and this is what I was met with. (Sorry to those of you who are offended by this but remember what she is really trying to say.)

"I playin' wis poop mom"

Let this be a lesson to all of you moms not to leave your children unsupervised in the bath....you may walk in on this.

I leave the door open when they are in the bath, and I had been distracted in the kitchen with a final when I remembered to go and check on her. Needless to say, she pooped in the tub and then proceeded to paint herself as well as the tub. The smell had permeated the bathroom as well as Sadie's room. Ryan was dry heaving from the smell but I still made him come in and see. I literally had to scrub the poop off of her and she had a rash on her belly because of it. The whole time I was cleaning her and then the bathtub up she kept repeating "I playin wis poop mom." We had a little talk about pooping in the tub and whether or not it sunk in I don't know, I guess I will have to wait and see as well as keep a closer eye on her.

Five Little Ducks....

Addie and Zoey started singing this song on the way home from the zoo and I thought it was hilarious. They were so tired that the littlest thing would send them into fits of giggles.

Zoo Day

Brit and I decided to venture out to the zoo today. Finally a warm day and we only have a month left on our passes so why not right? It seems half of Utah and Salt Lake Counties had the same idea. I forgot how busy it is when it is warm and it made me realize that even when it is cool, it is better because we almost have the entire place to ourselves. Anyway, despite all of the people and Addie and Zoey venturing off on their own, it was still fun. When the day was done I think that Brit and I were more tired than the kids.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

I just wanted to wish my mom a very Happy Birthday and to let her know how much I love her and appreciate everything she does. Thanks for being such a great grandma to my kids and giving them the grandma that I never had. I love that when we are with my mom, I no longer exist as far as Addie is concerned. As Addie stated earlier this week, "Grandma Val is my whole world". Thanks mom, we love you!

After having a birthday dinner at my house, we proceeded to put together my sister Kimberlee's wedding announcements. Of course she picked the style that has like five steps to putting them together. They did turn out really good though.

This is Kris, Kimberlee's fiance' who is a very good sport and puts up with a lot. We love you Kris (remember, we called no give backs).

Hide and Seek

Sadie was playing Hide and Seek with Grandpa Kimbo today. I think her favorite part is when he jumps out and scares her. As you can see, I once again forgot and recorded this with the camera sideways. DUH as Addie would say.

"Can you feel the Love tonight?"

This is Addie's rendition of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from the Lion King. She kills me because she is always making up her own versions of songs (sound familiar Amber). Anyway, she was singing this today and unfortunately she was not as animated as she usually is (singing with the eyes closed) but it is still funny. Notice Sadie rolling around on the ground and then she goes up to Addie and says "Got you!"

Baby Alek

Just wanted to show off some new pictures of Alek. He is getting so big and is looking more like a baby instead of a newborn. We all love him especially mommy who is a baby hog and kisses him all the time.

I snapped this just in time to get a smile

Grandma Val's House

We spent the day at Grandma Val's and Grandpa Kimbo's. Daddy went out of town yesterday and we typically spend a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa's when he does that. Luckily the storm held off and the girls were able to play outside for a good part of the day. If we would let them swing all day then they would. The neighbors across the street have a swing set and they are very nice to allow Addie and Sadie to use it. Grandma and Grandpa are going to get a swing set in their yard later this month. My kids already are a fight to leave Grandma and Grandpa's and it will be even worse when the swing set comes.

I love the look on Sadie's face

Addie learned how to pump this year....YEAH!!!
