Addie starts T-Ball

So we signed Addie up for T-Ball this year and so far she LOVES it! She doesn't have as much natural talent as I thought she might, but after playing catch with her for 45 minutes before her first game, she was making a lot of progress. She is the type of kid that wants to be perfect at everything she does so she needs a lot of praise that she is doing things right so she doesn't give up. It is fun to play catch with her and watch her start to play a sport that I love! It is so funny when they are on defense. As soon as the ball is hit the whole team dives for it and it is a dog pile on the ball. It is a good thing they don't record outs or scores, this way each team goes through the entire batting order and they all get to run the bases and then they switch. It is so funny to watch, and I hope she keeps liking it as much as she does now.

Art City 5K

The kids and I walked/ran in the Art City 5K this year. My parents moved to Springville 5 years ago and we started doing the 5K for Art City Days. This year, I took all the kids and they had a good time. Addie walked/ran the whole way with me and Sadie and Asher rode in strollers. We had a really fun time and I am so proud of Addie for making it the whole way. My Dad and Rafal ran the whole way and did good, especially my dad for his 55 years came in under 30 minutes! Willy and Jen pushed Ryker and my mom and Kimberlee also walked it pushing Sadie and Vance.

These are the only pics I have, I will have to get more from my dad

Memorial Weekend in Mesquite

We were able to go down to Mesquite for Memorial Day weekend to visit Grandpa Jeffy Poo, Uncle Butthead (Dan) and Aunt Chris. We had so much fun! The kids swam and swam and swam until they were so worn out they were requesting to go to bed. We swam at Grandpa Jeffy Poo's condo (way too cold for me) and then at Uncle Butthead and Aunt Chris' in their new pool that was much warmer. We had awesome meals (thanks Uncle Butthead for making me clams/seafood medley yet once again), played games (I won Settlers), and just had fun hanging out. We made plans to decorate Grandpa Jeffy Poo's new home and the boys of course went golfing. We can't wait to go back, well except for Addie. I guess the drive was too much for her this time but we'll convince her.

Addie Graduates Kindergarten!

Addie and Miss Elder

The Program

Addie chose "The Chuck" for lunch. This was not a surprise to anyone and I think we will go on Thursdays from now on. "Mexican Thursday" was AWESOME!
