I know that I am posting a lot today but I have had a bit of a dry spell because we have been so busy. On Tuesday, I could tell Sadie needed to go poop and this always brings tears. I sat her on the toilet (it can take anywhere from seconds to 45 minutes)and because she was crying, I put my arms around her and she immediately went still. I sat there in that position for a minute and her breathing got heavier. I called Ryan into the bathroom to see if she was asleep and sure enough, she had fallen asleep on my shoulder while sitting on the toilet. It was so cute and funny, she was really tired that night because she had been swimming all day long so it didn't really surprise me.
Addison graduated from 3 year old preschool last Thursday. She is totally bummed that she no longer gets to go to school until next September. I thought she was going to start crying when I told her that it was her last day at school. I am glad that she loves it so much and her teacher Miss Jen is so cute with them. Ryan and I went to San Francisco for four days to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. We had a great time and were able to go to Pier 39, take a cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. We also saw the Giants play the White Sox and then traveled down to Monterey and Carmel. While in Carmel, we took the 17 Mile drive where we were able to see Pebble Beach Golf Course. It was a lot of fun and just the right amount of time away from the kids. We took a crazy amount of pictures so here are just a few of them. Also, while we were there, they legalized Gay marriage in the state of California. What a party they were having down in the Castro district of San Francisco....Good Times!!!
The other night, I let Sadie take her automatic toothbrush to bed because I was tired of fighting her. When I went to check on her this is what I found....
This weekend, we went up to Idaho for baby Ryan's blessing. The girls could hardly wait to ride on Grandpa Les's merry-go-round that he fashioned off of the horse walker. It is a big hit with all the kids and all Addie can talk about (other than Mikey). Anyway, for those of you who don't know who grandpa Les is he is Britney's (Barlow)dad and my kid's have officially adopted her parents as their own grandparents (we see a lot of them and they treat them great).
