Addison turns Four!!!

February 9th Addie turned four! She had been waiting for this day since the summer. For her birthday, she decided that we should go bowling and then go back to the house for cake and ice cream. She chose to have a "My Little Pony" cake and bubble gum ice cream. All the kids had a great time bowling (as did most of the adults). It was a good day and of course Addie was spoiled rotten with all of the presents. Thank you to all who contributed and she is already talking about when she turns five (and Christmas).


The video about her blowing out the lighter is because we had no idea that she did not know how to properly blow out candles so when she tried to blow them out on her cake it took multiple tries until my dad (unbeknownst to Addie) helped her out.

Addie gets a haircut!!!

Three weeks ago, Addie decided that she wanted to cut her hair short. This surprised us because for the last year, she was convinced that if she cut her hair short (or at all) she would be a boy. Her best friend Zoey got her hair cut and so Addie decided that she would too so that they could grow it out together.

When it was all done, she had three inches cut
off the back and two on the sides. It is very cute
and she loves it. She tells everyone she sees that
she got her hair cut. I think the real reason that
she loves it is because I can no longer pull it up.
